post pictures of this sucker. It turned out PERFECT. I was so excited for her to open it (her being my roommate). She's always wanted an ol' school (like, Little House on the Prairie old) nightgown....so...ya. :) Many thanks to J and K for their help along the way. I DID take a picture of the grin that spread across her face as she opened it, but I respect her too much to put that pic on here. Ha! Enjoy.
Oh ya, I had to sew it in secret, so I totally sewed it IN MY OFFICE after finals last week until all hours of the night. Let's just say, my EFY peeps think I'm nuts. Awesome. Right on track...
OMG. So cute.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! It reminds me a little bit of our Sound of Music nightgown. Good memories.
ReplyDeleteHa! AWESOME! I was SO waiting for you to say that! Yes, yes it does. :)
Delete:) THANK YOU!!! I seriously have the best roommates EVER.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO blasted adorable! And so are you!
ReplyDeleteKaren, you are just amazing! Clarissa and I started her first quilt yesterday, and all I could think about was our 4-H days are your house!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I want to see pictures of said quilt! Awww, 4H....oh man. Those were the days. I swear, we were like the little rascals only girls.
Deleteokay - wow!!! I am so impressed! How thoughtful you are and talented too. I can't even sew a pillow case (seriously - your Mom had to help me - remember?) Love you!! Had the best time reading your blog tonight :)
ReplyDeleteLove, Laura
WOW! Awesome job. I too was thinking about our 4h days. I have thought about this a few times when Sariah and I have sewed her 4h projects in the summer.
